In our past yearbooks, the library was described as an institution with multiple responsibilities. These include selecting, acquiring, processing, organizing, preserving, retrieving, and disseminating information to the appropriate users, at the right time and location. Moreover, the library serves as a hub for intellectual activities, bringing together both staff and students. It is widely recognized as a valuable tool for fostering academic success.

The primary goal of library services is to distribute vital information to its users. Additionally, it serves as a readily accessible resource, providing information on a wide range of topics from various aspects of life. This enables individuals to make informed decisions regarding development initiatives and educational progress.

A properly equipped library has the ability to offer timely and pertinent information to those seeking it, thereby facilitating issue resolution. Additionally, it plays a crucial role in promoting a culture of reading and supporting teachers in their educational endeavors by enhancing knowledge transfer to students. Conversely, a library that lacks essential resources is akin to a motorcycle with a powerful engine but no tires. Such a library is incapable of effectively disseminating critical information and fails to assist learners in focusing or achieving academic improvement.

In this era dominated by information, a well-equipped library plays a significant role in fostering an early reading culture. It achieves this through the availability of up-to-date and relevant information resources, including both printed books and e-books.
