Theodora Udounwa, a student at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto recognised for her leadership and service.

Theodora Udounwa, a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) student at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto, has been honoured with the Student Leadership Awards.

According to the March 5, 2024 news published on the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy website, three PhD candidates in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, along with one Doctor of Pharmacy student at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, have been awarded Student Leadership Awards by the University of Toronto. These awards recognize students who demonstrate outstanding leadership, volunteer service, and commitment to the university.

The award-winning students of which Theodora Udounwa is among at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy have contributed to student life and academics through a number of initiatives, participating in student government, and organising academic, professional development, and social events.

While commenting on the awards on the university website, Theodora said “… to me, this award symbolizes the fulfillment of my commitment to giving back to the community and making a difference in the lives of others. This recognition motivates me to continue my efforts to create meaningful change, both in my current roles and in any future leadership positions.”

It's incredibly rewarding to witness the continued success of our former student, Theodora Udounwa, who has been honoured for her outstanding leadership and service at Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto. During her time with us, she exhibited remarkable leadership qualities, and it's no surprise to see her contributions being recognised on a broader scale. Theodora's dedication to serving others and making a positive impact is truly commendable. We are immensely proud of her achievements and the values she continues to uphold.
